This Trichy is about 300kms form Chennai is known. This temple is visited by many devotees from all over. There are as many as 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu and this Lord Ranganatha Swamy temple leads those. Utsava moorthy or presiding deity here is referred as Namperumal.
