Yesterday Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa inaugurated the Amma Mineral Water scheme on the occasion of former Chief Minister Annadurais 105th birth anniversary.

Hunt for illegal auto rickshaw drivers

The police officials took a sudden step in cracking down all auto rickshaw drivers who have not been holding the mandatory legal documents.
Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh requesting him to obtain approval for two of its wind energy projects and grants of Rs 1,500 Crore from the National Clean Energy Fund.
The Tamilnadu State Public Works Department has allocated Rs 3.62 Crores to clear the waterways in and around Chennai, Tiruvalllur and Kancheepuram districts.
