The state health minister, Vijaya Bhaskar, informed that the patients, affected by dengue fever and under treatment in ICU and IMCU wards will be given Rs. 2000 per day while under treatment through the patients insurance cover policy.

The pollution control board has informed that the level of the noise pollution has increased as compared to the average in the Chennai Metro City.
