Heavy traffic jam at Perungalathur

Due to three serious accidents, the traffic is chocking in Perungalathur near Tambaram. At Perungalathur, the traffic is choked, with motorists finding it difficult to bypass the traffic on the highway. Police are doing their best to regulate the traffic.

The prices of tomatoes are going down day by day in Chennai. Four months back tomatoes were sold for Rs 100 per kilo. Since the prices were high, the farmers started harvesting more tomatoes. This resulted in heavy inflow of tomatoes in the market.
