Petrol prices come down

On Wednesday the petrol prices were cut by 49 paise per litre in Delhi (inclusive of state levies) while diesel will be cheaper by Rs 1.21 per litre (inclusive of state levies).
The interest rates on two key small savings schemes — the five-year Senior Citizens Savings Scheme and the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Scheme has been raised by the Ministry of Finance.
