The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in a few places for the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Tamil Nadu has been receiving widespread rainfall activity since last many days. These rains have also reduced the states rain deficiency to some extent. In fact, as of today, the entire state of Tamil Nadu is rain deficient by only 13%.

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Puviyarasan, has informed that there are no prospects of any rain for the next 5 days in the Chennai Metro City.

The rainfall in the state of Tamil Nadu would reduce gradually and this was confirmed by the RMC or regional Metropolitan Centre.
