No prospects of rain in Chennai for the next 5 days

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Puviyarasan, has informed that there are no prospects of any rain for the next 5 days in the Chennai Metro City.
He explained in this regard that there is a cyclonic format recently developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the southeast Arabian Sea. Because of this cyclonic format, there are prospects of rain in a few places in the southern Tamil Nadu and the delta districts.
As regards the Chennai Metro City, it will remain cloudy. However, there are no prospects of any rain in the next 5 days.
