Drinking water supply likely to get disrupted

As maintenance works are to be held at the Nemmeli desalination plant near Chennai, the public are announced about the mobile phone numbers of water lorries in order to get drinking water.
In a report rolled out about the same, the Chennai metro water board has stated that maintenance works are to take place at the prime pipelines of Nemmeli desalination plant. These works will take place between 8 am on 8th January (Friday) till 8 am on 9th January (Saturday).
Hence, there may be disruptions in water supply in places including Thiruvanmyur, Kottivakkam, Neelankarai, Paalavakkam, Vettuvangani, Sozhinganallur, Kannagi Nagar, Okkiyam Thoraipakkam, Ullagaram, Puzhudhivakkam, and Velachery.
