Paid Darshan Cancelled for 3 Days at Palani Murugan Temple for Thaipusam
In view of the Thaipusam festival, the temple administration of Palani Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple has announced the cancellation of paid darshan for three days.

During these days, only free darshan will be allowed for devotees.

The Thaipusam festival, one of the most important celebrations dedicated to Lord Murugan, will be held grandly on February 1 at the Palani hill temple. Lakhs of devotees from across Tamil Nadu visit Palani during this period.
Many devotees also undertake foot pilgrimages via national, state, and district highways leading to Palani as part of their vows.
Important Information for Devotees
- Paid darshan tickets will not be issued for the above three days
- Devotees can have darshan only through free darshan queues
- Heavy crowd expected due to festival rush
Temple authorities have advised devotees to plan their visit accordingly and cooperate with crowd management arrangements.
