NEET type entrance examinations for engineering aspirants
The central government has decided to conduct similar NEET entrance examinations for engineering aspirants. At a time when NEET entrance examination was made compulsory for MBBS and BDS courses.

Applications for writing SET exam can be made between 12th Feb & 12th Mar
Applications may be sent for writing the SET exam to qualify for the job as Professor between 12th February and 12th March.

M. Phil. Course removed from the colleges under Sundaranar University
The Vice-chancellor of the Tirunelveli Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Mr. Bhaskar, informed that the M.Phil. Courses in the University and all the colleges affiliated to it is being removed.

TANCET exams on March 25 and 26
The TANCET or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2017 will be conducted on March 25 and 26. This is the entrance test for postgraduate engineering courses.
