CMRL Wins Two National Awards for Excellence in Urban Transport
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has recently been honoured with two prestigious awards by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) for its remarkable contributions to urban transportation.
CMRL received the ‘Award of Excellence in Urban Transport’ under the category ‘Metro Rail with the Best Multimodal Integration’, recognising its seamless connectivity with various transport systems across the city.
Additionally, CMRL earned a Commendation Award under the category ‘Metro Rail with the Best Passenger Services and Satisfaction’, highlighting its commitment to enhancing commuter experience and service quality.
The awards were presented by Union Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and Tokhan Sahu. They were received by Transport Minister SS Sivasankar, Additional Chief Secretary K. Gopal, and CMRL Managing Director MA Siddique.
