Chennai Weather Update: IMD Predicts Light to Moderate Rain Till December 15
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that light to moderate rainfall is likely across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next six days, starting today and continuing until December 15.
According to the official weather report, a lower-level atmospheric circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal is influencing the current weather conditions and triggering rainfall activity in many parts of the state.
Heavy Rain Likely in Coastal Areas
- The weather department has stated that:
- Isolated heavy rain is likely in parts of Nagapattinam district
- Karaikal region may also receive heavy showers till this morning
