Entrepreneurs and Traders to Gather for 'Thamizhar 4.0' Global Business Summit in Chennai

The Confederation of Tamil Agriculture Commerce Industry and Services (CTACIS) will host the `Thamizhar 4.0` Global Trade & Business Summit at the Hilton Hotel, Chennai, on July 24 and 25, bringing together more than 500 Tamil-speaking entrepreneurs and traders from Tamil Nadu, across India, and overseas.

The summit aims to strengthen global business connections for Tamil entrepreneurs and is expected to be one of the largest entrepreneurial and B2B networking events in Chennai. Participants from countries including the UAE, Oman, European Union, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Australia are expected to attend, with several business collaborations and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) likely to be signed during the event.

The event will focus on promoting collaboration between MSMEs, industries, and trade organisations. Renowned entrepreneurs and business leaders, including MaFoi K. Pandiarajan, Naturals founder C.K. Kumaravel, Isha Homes` Suresh Krishnan, and Money Pechu`s Anand Srinivasan, will participate as keynote speakers and panellists.

Officials from the Tamil Nadu MSME Department, TIIC, SIDBI, and NSIC will also attend the summit to guide entrepreneurs on government schemes and initiatives.

According to the organisers, the summit will urge the Tamil Nadu Government to create stronger linkages between large industries and MSMEs and establish Trade Mission Offices in countries that have Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with India. It also seeks to encourage global Tamils to support MSME products and services through a cooperative business network.
