The educationists have expressed deep regrets about the trend that many students, who join the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and IIM (Indian Institute of Management) among very tough competitions, drop out of these courses half-way.

TNPSC Group 2 services examination held
9,860 candidates attended the TNPSC Group 2 services main examination. 20 percent of the candidates did not turn up for the examination. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has been entrusted with the work of the filling up the vacancies of the various government departments.
