The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that the cyclone Amphan is set to cross the coast this evening (Wednesday, 20th May).

Cyclone Amban weakens: set to cross the coast tomorrow, intensifies again!
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that the recently formed cyclone Amban initially lost intensity and weakened; however, subsequently, it has intensified strong and transformed into a violent cyclone.
