Weather Bureau Warning - going to be a torrid summer this year
With the summer seasonal heat intensity already picking up, the meteorological centre has warned that the temperature may shoot up by up to 5 Degrees Celsius in 13 districts in the state including Chennai.

Strong prospects of hot winds blow in 13 districts
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that hot winds may blow across in 13 districts including Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, and Vellore and also in some of the interior districts.

Chennai city temperature touches 36.8 degree Celsius
Meteorological department had recently issued warning for some interior parts of the state of TN regarding the heat wave and it would last till Thursday is known. On Tuesday, the temperature recorded in few interior places in Tamil Nadu.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are strong prospects of hot winds to blow across on 6th and 7th March in the districts of Salem, Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Karur.

Prospects of heat intensity shooing up in 7 districts
A cyclonic format has been prevailing in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Kanyakumari Ocean zone. There are no other cyclonic formats in Tamil Nadu.
