A new mobile app has been launched to facilitate consulting doctors from the residence and get their prescriptions.
As lockdown imposition is prevailing as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus, smaller hospitals have remained closed.
Hence, patients with different complaints face hardships unable to consult their (regular) doctors.
Though the medicines are known, they cannot buy the same without the doctor’s prescriptions.
As a solution to this issue, a new mobile app has been created on behalf of the ‘E Z Clinic’.
‘E Z Clinic’ Technology Officer Guruprasad shared regarding this:
“With our mobile App, all doctors/patients can upload and use.
The patients who got the consultation from the doctors can also get the prescriptions from them through this App.
In the prescription, the concerned doctor’s Registration Number, and his signature will be available. The names of the medicines can be seen in larger size.
Further, QR Code will also be available.
So, in case somebody adds medicines not prescribed by the doctors, the same can be detected.
Further, as the doctors give their medical consultation in the digital mode, the patients can save and keep them and show when visiting the clinic for treatment.
We have created this App for 50 doctors and patients separately.”
Doctors can load the APP and register their names and then create the App for their patients.
So far, 50 doctors have uploaded this App.
Because of the lockdown impositions, the use of this App is not charged presently. Once the lockdown concludes, monthly charges of Rs. 650 will be collected.
Through this App, the patient can get the consultation and an appointment from their preferred doctors!
We are set to install the facility of video consultation from May!
We have followed the guidelines of the central government while designing this App.”
