Finland model of education for Children at Schools: Chennai Corporation

In order to increase the enrollment rate in schools, the Chennai Corporation is planning to introduce a different education model in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Finland model of education is being chosen by the officials and the civic body had sent a 6-member delegation recently to Finland to learn about the education system followed in that country. This team includes a headmaster, assistant educational officer and four headmistresses. The Chennai Corporation expects good number of enrollment of students once this Finland education system is introduced into the public schools, which parents now ignore for not having the expected quality.
