IIT Madras Launches Registration Portal for Second Phase of Kashi Tamil Sangamam

Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has opened the registration portal for the second phase of Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS), scheduled to take place from December 17 to 30. Interested individuals from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry can submit their applications on the KTS portal at www.kashitamil.iitm.ac.in. The deadline for applications is December 8, 2023.
In the upcoming phase of KTS, approximately 1,400 participants from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will embark on an eight-day immersive tour to Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya, including travel time by train. This initiative, organized by IIT-Madras, aims to strengthen the cultural and historical ties between Varanasi and Tamil Nadu, both significant centers of learning and culture in ancient India. The program focuses on fostering people-to-people connections across various walks of life.
The second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam builds upon the success of its predecessor, continuing the mission of reviving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage shared between Varanasi and Tamil Nadu.
