New LPG cylinder delivery rules have come into effect across India from May 1, 2026. OTP verification is now mandatory during cylinder delivery for Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP Gas consumers. The government has also tightened booking intervals and verification procedures. Consumers are advised to update their Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers and complete eKYC verification.
