Voter List Special Camp in Chennai on January 10 & 11
The Greater Chennai Corporation has announced a special voter registration camp at all polling stations across Chennai district on January 10 and 11 to help eligible citizens update their details in the electoral roll.
Purpose of the Special Camp
The camp aims to:
- Add new voters whose names are not in the draft voter list
- Include first-time voters who completed 18 years of age as on January 1, 2026
- Make corrections and updates in existing voter records
Forms to Be Submitted
Form 6 – Inclusion of name / new voter registration
Form 7 – Deletion of name
Form 8 – Correction of details, address change, photo change, Aadhaar/mobile number linking
Applicants must submit the required form along with an undertaking and any one of the 13 valid identity documents prescribed by the Election Commission.
Important Note
The special camp will be held at all polling booths in Chennai, making it easy for residents to complete voter-related services near their homes.
Citizens are urged to make full use of this opportunity and ensure their names and details are correctly included in the voter list.
