Tamil Nadu Voter List Update 2026: Special Voter Registration Camps Announced
Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026, the Election Commission of India has intensified the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls to ensure accurate and inclusive voter lists.
As part of this process, four days of special voter registration camps will be conducted across all polling stations in Tamil Nadu. These camps will help citizens apply for new voter registration, name deletion, and address correction.

Special Camp Dates: December 27 & 28, 2025 | January 3 & 4, 2026
Last Date to Submit Applications: January 18, 2026
The draft voter list, released on December 19, reflects changes after door-to-door verification conducted from November 4. Voters are strongly advised to check their details and submit corrections within the given timeline.
The announcement was made by Archana Patnaik, Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu.
