Tamil Nadu Weather Today: Rain Forecast for 14 Districts Till 4 PM, Says RMC Chennai

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has forecast rain in 14 districts of Tamil Nadu until 4:00 p.m. today.

According to the latest weather bulletin, Coimbatore, Theni, The Nilgiris, Tirunelveli, and Tiruppur are likely to receive moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.

Meanwhile, Chengalpattu, Chennai, Kanniyakumari, Dindigul, Kancheepuram, Madurai, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, and Tiruvallur are expected to experience light rain at isolated places during the day.

The weather department has advised residents in the affected districts to remain alert, especially in areas prone to thunderstorms and lightning, and to follow official weather updates.
