The Director of Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur, has announced a special ‘Zoo Ambassador’ program for students during the summer vacation. Students from Class 5 and above are eligible to participate.
The program will offer hands-on training on mammals, birds, reptiles, and butterflies, helping students learn about wildlife through field activities. Zoo veterinarians, biologists, and educators will conduct the sessions. Each participant will receive a kit bag with practice sheets and essential materials.
The camp will be held in five batches on the following dates:
- May 14–15
- May 21–22
- May 28–29
- May 30–31
- June 4–5
Timings: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Each batch can accommodate up to 50 students.
Upon completion, participants will be awarded a ‘Vandalur Zoo Ambassador’ certificate and a free passport for 10 visits to the zoo.
Registration fee: ₹100
Training kit cost: ₹800
