South west monsoon has intensified in Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka. Though there will be less impact of the monsoon in Tamil Nadu, there have been rains in the inner districts of Tamil Nadu.

Heavy rains expected in inner districts
Due to convection rains are expected today in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagai, Pudukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Nellai, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts.
