Agumbe opens it account with a bang, meanwhile its Chennai turn today for rains
Remember the Malgudi Days in Doordarshan the series was shot in Agumbe in Shimoga District, Karnataka. Agumbe is also one of the wettest place in India beyond Mawsynaram and Cherrapunji. It is also home place for famous King Cobra.

High Intensity Rains in Cuddalore - Virudachalam belt. No sign of any rains in Chennai till now
The intense spell was expected south of Chennai but has gone to Pondy and south of it. As expected, rains happened in Bangalore, Salem and parts of Thiruvannamalai belt.

Chennai Rains are Possible today because of the unstability in the Atmosphere due to the UAC
With one side UAC off Kerala Coast and UAC off Andhra Coast. The line of instability (broken wind pattern see pic) right across, North TN, South Interior Karnataka and South AP. Chennai - Part of Chennai will get rains.
