Cyclone Gaja has become beautiful after nicely wrapping up clouds and has started the WSW dip. It will intensify further today & tomorrow and will weaken again to cross the coast between Pondy/Cuddalore and Nagai/Vedaranyam .

Cyclone Gaja to cross Tamil Nadu Coast by November 15 evening
Tropical Cyclone Gaja moved in west/southwest direction and today at 08:30 hours, it was near latitude 13.0˚N and longitude 85.1˚E about 540 km east of Chennai and 640 northeast of Nagapattinam.

Chennai to get heavy rains as cyclone Gaja makes U turn now
In the last few days we have been hearing news about the cyclone Gaja. On Tuesday morning, cyclone Gaja took U turn and headed northwest but again travelled west southwards.

Cyclone Gaja: Rain in Tamil Nadu by tomorrow morning; to increase on November 15
Dry weather conditions are continuing over entire Tamil Nadu since the last few days. The reason for this dry spell can be attributed to the formation of a cyclone in Bay of Bengal.

Cyclone Gaja Latest Update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)
The NW movement will stop anytime now and the SW dip will start soon. Once it takes SW route it will be a very fast dip. The stalling happened because of the steering ridge change.

Cyclone Gaja will weaken before landfall (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)
Cyclone Gaja completes a weird loop and will start to intensify again in open seas but will weaken a lot before landfall around / between Cuddalore and Vedaranayam on 15th November.

Cyclone Gaja: Heavy rain in Chennai, Puducherry, Cuddalore from November 14
A Cyclonic Storm, Gaja formed over Bay of Bengal, due to which, winds have converged over the cyclone and the weather conditions over Tamil Nadu have also become dry since the last few days.
