Metro Rail trial run conducted in the underground stretch near Airport
The total length of the Phase I of the project is 45 kms, Washermanpet to Airport 23.1 kms and Chennai Central to St.Thomas Mount 22 kms, initially nine trains will be deployed for operations from Koyambedu to Alandur covering a distance of 10 kms.

Saidapet-Airport Metro line nears completion
