Test run of Metro Rail on both the tracks soon
Work is going on to enable the test run on both the tracks in the section between Koyambedu and Ashok Nagar.

Chennai Metro Rail Project: 34% Tunnelling Work Completed
36 km of tunnelling was planned for the Metro Rail Project. 12 Tunnel boring machines were procured. 900 metres to 1000 metres tunnelling work is completed in a month.

Model Metro train on display at Koyambedu Bus Station
A model Metro Train has been put up at Koyambedu bus station for public display. Model train will be display in 2 days.

Chennai Metro � Shenoy Nagar-Koyambedu route to open by end 2015

Sudden cracks in Mount Road with Metro tunneling work
Tunnel boring machines have been used for the distance from Government Gardens to LIC Building. While this was in progress yesterday,Some cracks also appeared on the road. Police were deployed immediately to divert the traffic.
