It is common these days that many of us have distress or mind uneasiness caused due to fear. The point is the anxiety is a human emotion associated with panic, fear and fight/flight response.
Different persons have different levels of anxiety in them and it is said that factors like death of a loved one or losing job or an accident or financial issues could increase the anxiety of a person. It is important to note that anxiety disrupts the normal life of a person. There are some who have anxiety for longer time periods and it is known as anxiety disorder. This issue could be treated by medicine or by therapy.
There are few habits that could make anxiety worse and these are
Habit of consuming coffee:
Majority of us love drinking coffee. It must be taken into account that drinking coffee might increase the anxiety levels in us. The heart beat levels increase by intake of coffee because the coffee acts as stimulant. Those having anxiety issues would feel nervous and restless after consuming coffee.
Habit of insufficient sleeping:
Not getting right amount of sleep could lead to the hormonal imbalance in us. It is brought out that not getting enough amounts of sleep could make anxiety worse. Point is the sleep deprivation could act as a prolonged stress.
Habit of dwelling upon negative emotions:
Many of us have the habit of thinking about the bad that happened in our past and dwell upon negative emotions. It is said that this could make anxiety more. By thinking positively we could eradicate the negative thoughts.
Habit of constantly checking mobile or social media accounts:
Many these days have the habit of constantly checking their mobile phones or their social media accounts. This could increase the anxiety levels to a huge extent. Research studies have revealed that social media platforms like Face Book etc could increase the symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Habit of being alone:
There are many with do not mingle with others and they prefer to be alone. This would increase anxiety along with depression. Anxiety related conditions decreases by being part of social gathering or by mingling with others.
