While urinating, do you feel pain then these could be the reasons

Dysuria otherwise called as painful urination affects urinary bladder and nearby parts of our body.  It must be noted that both males as well as females could get pain during the urination.

The important point is this painful urination should never be taken lightly and the doctor must be consulted immediately. There are several factors that could cause painful urination in us.

The various reasons are

Urinary Tract Infection or UTI:
This UTI is the most common cause for the painful urination in both males and females. It must be noted that UTI could result in pain in the side and back. Frothy and bad smelling urine is observed in those who have this UTI. By consuming cranberry juice plus water we could avoid UTI in us.

Kidney stones:
Not many know that kidney stone and painful urination could take place due to lack of water intake. When a person is having kidney stones then he or she would have fever, chills, severe pain and small amounts of urination.

Chemical sensitivity:
It is said that a pain during urination in women could take place when pH of the vagina gets disturbed. Foamy soaps, certain lubricants, contraceptive foams could lead to pH disturbance. Issues like itching, swelling, redness etc could be experienced.

Certain medicines:
Some persons might be affected with bladder cancer and they might take certain medicines for their bladder cancer. It is said that these medicines could cause painful urination.

Ovarian cysts:
It must be noted that ovarian cysts could be either in one or both of the ovaries and sit on either side of the urinary bladder. These ovarian cysts could lead to painful urination in females. Apart from this the presence of ovarian cysts could also lead to unusual vaginal bleeding, painful periods, pelvic as well as lower back pain etc.
