11-screen multiples at Phoenix Market City, Velachery
A new 11-screen multiplex facility has been started at the Phoenix City Mall, Velachery.
The company, Satyam Cinemas (SPI), operates this multiplex.
2688 seats are provided in the 11-screen multiplex with the latest digital technology.
Features
The front patio flooring is Italian marble. The walls are
velvet. Beautiful lighting is another point of decoration. A restaurant is
available in the front are of the multiplex having a pillar fitted with 72 LCD
screens. Separate washrooms are available for men & women.
Each is upholstered with imported special cloth. RDX-4K digital
projectors with 3D technology and 2.4 Gain silver screen & digital sound system
of the latest screening technology are in operation.
Dolby Atmos Sound system provides a new thrilling experience to
the audience. Automated vending machines disburse the film tickets.
There is a grand great piano kept in the front verandah. This is
connected to a self-operating g i-pod. All famous piano music can be heard &
enjoyed.
Another multiplex complex, Grand Mass Cinema, is scheduled to be opened in Velachery this month.This is located near the Velachery over-bridge and has 5 theatres. This is run by PVR.
