Class 10 and 12 students will have to face a different pattern of examinations. Now Tamil Nadu Education Board has decided to follow CBSE’s examination pattern by which only students with good knowledge would pass the examination.
The school education department constituted a committee with G. Balasubramanian, former director (academics), CBSE, as chairman to recommend changes that needed to be effected in the exams. The committee is expected to submit its report by this month-end and this will go to chief minister J. Jayalalithaa to get her approval for implementation.
Similarly, the school education department has also constituted two committees for revamping curriculum and syllabi.
