Aadhar Card data is mandatory to get the subsidy for the domestic 14.7 kg LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder.
Note that it is rather easy to link the Aadhar card with Gas Connection details through a simple phone call or even SMS! Here is the procedure:
Over the last few years, the procedural routines for several tasks have made the role of Aadhar card mandatory! Aadhar is not only personal identity but now with several procedural requirements, Aadhar is useful to avail/get all the subsidies and welfare schemes announced by the Central Government. Especially, Aadhar is mandatory to avail the subsidies for the domestic LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder.
This subsidy is directly deposited on the bank savings accounts of the consumers under the Direct Transaction Scheme. With this, no middlemen or brokers are required and maloperations on this front get eliminated!
INDANE had recently launched a scheme for the LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder Connection through SMS.
For linking with Aadhar card, the mobile number of the customer must be linked with the Gas Cylinder Supplying Agency.
To register the mobile number, type IOC std code and send to the number 1800-2333-555 – the Indane Customer Care Number.
Once the mobile number gets registered, type ‘UID Aadhar Number’ and send it to the customer care number given above. Subsequently, Aadhar Card will be linked with the Gas Agency!
To link the Aadhar card through a telephone call, the call must be made from the given cell phone number to 1800 2333 5555. Inform the Aadhar number on this call and then, Aadhar number will get linked with the gas connection system
Apart from this, you can link the Aadhar with gas connection online as well!
Visit the official website of the Aadhar Authority and register the personal details such as address, gas agency, INDANE Gas ID, etc., After this, submit. OTP will be received on the given cell phone number. Register this OTP and submit. Subsequently, Aadhar will get linked to the Gas connection system.
