Important!! Students can apply for the supplementary examinations from 14th May onwards!!
Just a couple of days has passed since plus 2 public results were announced.
Point is that for the supplementary examinations those students who have failed and those who were absent for the public exams and those students with outstanding subjects in class 11 could apply from 14th of May. This was announced by the directorate of government examinations or DGE.
It is known that the results of plus 2 public examinations were announced on 8th May. The examination dept is now planning to conduct the supplementary exams in the month of June and July 2025.
It must be noted that the supplementary exams are conducted for those students who have failed in their class 12 public examinations and those students who did not appear for the public exams and for those students who have outstanding subjects in their class 11. To take part in the supplementary examination, the students must go to their schools in person from 14th to 29th of May and apply for the examinations from 11am to 5pm.
Independent students could apply for their supplementary exams from 14th May through the service centres set up by district wise. Those students who fail to apply for their supplementary exams from 14th to 29th May must apply online on 30th and 31st May with suitable fees under a special admission scheme.
Information gathered is that an amount of Rs 1000 must be paid as a special admission fee. In the 2024-25 academic year those students who have studied in the government and government aided schools in TN but not passed etc would be exempted from paying this fee.
It is mentioned that those students who wish to apply online could get details about the service centres and instructions about registering online etc through the website www.dge.tn.gov.in.
Apart from that, the students could also know the details from all district primary education offices, all district education offices, and all assistant director of government examination offices etc. The supplementary examination schedule for the students of class 11 and 12 could be obtained from the above mentioned website.
