Samsung Raises Smartphone Prices Within Just Eight Days of Launch

Smartphone prices continue to rise across global markets, and several brands in India have also revised the prices of their devices. Joining this trend, Samsung has increased the price of its newly launched Galaxy M47 5G smartphone just days after its debut.

The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G, launched on July 4, was introduced at a starting price of ₹25,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. As part of a launch offer, the smartphone was initially available at a discounted price of ₹22,999.

New Pricing

Samsung has now increased the price of this variant to ₹32,999. Compared to the launch offer price, the smartphone now costs ₹10,000 more, while the increase from its original launch price is ₹7,000.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has also seen a price revision, increasing from ₹25,999 to ₹36,999. Similarly, the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is now priced at ₹41,999, up from its earlier price of ₹30,999.

Samsung is not the only brand to revise smartphone prices in recent weeks. Several manufacturers have also increased the prices of their devices, citing rising production and operational costs as the primary reason for the price revisions.
