Tamil Nadu Voter List Update: Special Camps in Chennai Till January 18
Ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, the draft voter list has been released following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Voters whose names are missing or incorrect in the draft list can apply for new voter inclusion, correction, or address change till January 18.
According to the Election Commission of India, special voter facilitation camps are being held at all polling stations in Chennai on December 20 and 21. Eligible citizens can submit Form 6 for adding their names to the voter list and Form 8 for corrections or address changes.
Applications can be submitted offline at polling booths or online through voters.eci.gov.in and the ECINET mobile app. Voters are advised to verify their details at the earliest to ensure their names appear in the final voter list, to be published on February 17.
