Tamil Nadu Launches WhatsApp Helpline to Report Bribery in Government Offices
The Tamil Nadu government has introduced a WhatsApp helpline (94981 80936) to enable the public to report instances of bribery in government offices.
Chief Secretary Sai Kumar has issued a circular directing all government departments to prominently display the WhatsApp number on their official websites. Departments have also been instructed to provide a direct link to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) website to make it easier for citizens to submit complaints against corruption.
