Tamil Nadu Weather Today: Light Rain in Coastal Areas, Frost Warning in Hills
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) – Chennai has forecast light to moderate rain at isolated places today across coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, influenced by a lower-level atmospheric circulation over the southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining south Kerala region.
Interior Tamil Nadu is expected to remain mostly dry. Minimum temperatures across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will see no major change, though a few places may record temperatures 2–3°C below normal.
