Dr. N. Panchapakesan Honours Students at Bharathi Ula Festival in Sevalaya

The Bharathi Ula Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Sevalaya campus in Kasuva village near Tiruvallur, organised by the Uratha Sindhanai Readers and Writers Association. Students who actively participated in the event were honoured with prizes by Dr. N. Panchapakesan, Founder of Chennai Sai Sankara Matrimonials Group, who was the chief guest of the programme.

The Bharathi Ula initiative has been conducted for several years with the aim of taking Subramania Bharathi’s ideals, patriotism and literary vision to the younger generation. As part of this ongoing effort, the festival was held at Sevalaya, witnessing active participation from school students through speeches, songs and dance performances inspired by Bharathi’s works.

The programme was presided over by Mr. V. Muralidharan, Founder of Sevalaya Trust. Mr. Udhayam Ram, General Secretary of the association, spoke about the objectives and impact of the Bharathi Ula movement, while Poet K. Subramanian, Joint Secretary, delivered the welcome address.

A special student forum titled “Bharatha Nadu, the Pride of the World” was conducted, encouraging students to express their thoughts and understanding of Bharathi’s vision. Teachers who trained and guided the students were also felicitated for their contributions.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. N. Panchapakesan distributed prizes to all participating students, appreciating their talent and enthusiasm. The event was attended by Ms. S. Kanchana, Head of Homes and Value Education at Sevalaya, Mr. S. Rajaram of Iyen Medias, artist Mani, and other distinguished guests.
