New Voter Registration Begins from December 9, 2025 - Apply at BLO Camps in Schools
The New Voter Registration Drive will begin from Tuesday, December 9, 2025, allowing eligible citizens who have completed 18 years of age to enroll their names in the voter list. The drive is conducted under the supervision of the Election Commission of India to ensure maximum participation of new voters in the democratic process.
Applicants must apply in person through Booth Level Officers (BLOs), who will be available at nearby primary schools from December 9 onwards. This offline application process is specially arranged to help first-time voters complete their registration easily and accurately.
Documents Required for New Voter Registration
Applicants must carry the following:
- Aadhaar Card
- One passport size photograph
- Birth Certificate
- School Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Father’s or Mother’s SIR / EPIC number (if available)
Election officials have urged all eligible youth to use this opportunity to get registered without delay, as voter registration is mandatory to participate in upcoming elections.
