East Wind Variation Brings Moderate Rain to Delta & South Tamil Nadu | Fishermen Warning Issued
Due to variations in wind speed from the eastern direction, moderate rainfall is likely at a few places across the delta and southern districts of Tamil Nadu, as well as Puducherry, today. In several parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, light morning fog may occur during the early hours.
Chennai and its suburban areas are expected to experience partly cloudy skies, with light fog possible in some locations during the early morning hours. Meanwhile, strong and gusty winds are likely to prevail along the coastal areas of southern Tamil Nadu, the Gulf of Mannar, and the Kumari Sea region from today until the 15th.
In view of these weather conditions, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during this period, as a precautionary safety measure.
