Jio Leads Tamil Nadu Telecom Growth

Reliance Jio Infocom Limited has strengthened its lead in Tamil Nadu, adding over 28.57 lakh new mobile subscribers between April and June 2025, according to TRAI data. Jio’s total mobile user base in the state has now crossed 2.38 crore, holding a 32.66% market share.
The company’s 5G Fixed Wireless Access (JioAirFiber) service is also growing fast, with over 71,000 new users in the same period. JioAirFiber now has more than 3.7 lakh subscribers in Tamil Nadu, commanding a 63% market share in this segment.
