IIT Madras Pravartak to Train 10 Lakh Students in AI Over Next 3 Years

The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation plans to train 10 lakh school and college students in Artificial Intelligence (AI) over the next three years through online courses.

The programme will cover AI basics to advanced tools, helping students prepare for future jobs. Around 1.5 lakh learners, including college students, rural school teachers, and engineering aspirants, are already enrolled in AI certification courses.

Top-performing students in the online programme will receive advanced training at the IIT Madras campus. The initiative also aims to expand AI education to sectors such as healthcare, law, and government services.
