The Vijay-led Tamil Nadu government has officially allocated portfolios to the newly inducted ministers following the major cabinet expansion held on Wednesday. A total of 23 new ministers took oath in the presence of Governor R. N. Ravi.

Key Departments Yet to Be Allocated

Sources indicate that the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department and Minority Welfare Department have not yet been allocated. These portfolios are likely to be offered to alliance parties including VCK and IUML in the coming days.

The cabinet expansion is being viewed as a major step by the Vijay-led TVK government to strengthen alliance coordination and administrative responsibilities across Tamil Nadu.
