MTC Invites Applications for ITI Automobile Course for 2026-27

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has opened admissions for its Industrial Training Institute (ITI) for the 2026-27 academic year.

Applications are invited for the Automobile (Motor Mechanic Vehicle - MMV) trade. Candidates who have passed Class 10 are eligible to apply for the two-year training programme.

Students admitted through the government counselling process will not have to pay any tuition fees.

One of the key highlights of the programme is that successful candidates will be offered an opportunity to undergo ACT Apprentice training at MTC after completing the course.

The training will be conducted at the MTC Industrial Training Institute, Gandhi Nagar, Chromepet, Chennai. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official MTC website or contact the institute for further details.
