Metro Service Temporarily Suspended on Chennai Central - Airport Route

Chennai Metro Rail services on the direct route from Chennai Central to the airport via Koyambedu were temporarily suspended following a technical fault. The suspension will remain in place until further notice.
CMRL has advised passengers travelling towards the airport via the Green Line (Anna Nagar–Koyambedu route) to change trains at Alandur Metro station. From Alandur, commuters can board Blue Line services to reach the airport Metro station.
Passengers are requested to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with Metro authorities during the temporary disruption.
