Axis Bank reduces interest rates

Following the Reserve Bank of India`s declaration of reduction of interest in short-term loans, most of the banks have started extending this concession to their customers as well.

One of the leading private sector banks in India, Axis Bank, has reduced the interest rates on basic loans by 0.35% to 9.5 %.

Earlier, Bank of India had announced reduction of interest rates by 0,25% to 9.7%. Oriental Bank of Commerce also reduced the interest rates on loan by 0.25% to 9.7%.

ICICI Bank has informed that it will be announcing the news about reduction in interest rates shortly.
