Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026 Results: School-Wise Pass Percentage Details Released
The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has released the Class 10 SSLC Public Examination Results 2026 along with school category-wise pass percentage statistics across the state.
The SSLC public examinations were conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026. A total of 8.70 lakh students appeared for the examinations, including 4,35,247 girl students and 4,35,396 boy students.
According to the official results, 8,21,105 students cleared the examination, taking the overall pass percentage to 94.31%. Among them, 4,19,891 girls passed with a success rate of 96.47%, while 4,01,214 boys passed with 92.15%. The overall pass percentage has increased by 0.51% compared to last year.
The state had a total of 12,467 schools participating in the SSLC examinations, including 7,490 higher secondary schools and 4,977 high schools.
Officials also revealed that 5,171 schools achieved 100% results, while 8,233 schools secured more than 95% pass percentage. Among government schools alone, 1,931 schools recorded 100% results and 3,436 schools achieved above 95% pass percentage.

The data shows that girls schools recorded a pass percentage 7.92% higher than boys schools, while co-educational schools performed 5.92% better than boys schools.
