The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations officially announced the Class 12 board examination results today, with the state achieving an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.03%, an increase of 0.47% from last year`s 94.56%.
This year`s results once again highlighted the academic excellence of girl students, who have outperformed boys in the pass percentage. Out of 4,05,472 girl students, 96.7% passed the exams, compared to 93.16% of the 3,47,670 boys who appeared. This marks a 3.54% higher success rate for girls.
Top Performing Districts:
Ariyalur – 98.82% (State Topper)
Erode – 97.98%
Tiruppur – 97.53%
Coimbatore – 97.48%
Kanniyakumari – 97.01%
A total of 2,638 schools across Tamil Nadu recorded 100% pass results, which includes 436 government schools.
The results were announced by School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi at 9:00 AM. Students can check their results through the following platforms:

Additionally, result updates are being sent via SMS to the registered mobile numbers of students.
